PERFORMANCE FEATURES:
Uprated 5.0L supercharged AJ-V8 GEN III R engine has been extensively recalibrated for the new XKR-S. Power output has been increased to 405kW and maximum torque reaches 680Nm, giving the XKR-S a top speed of 300kph with acceleration from 0-100kph in 4.4 seconds.
Superior driving dynamics due to a combination of lighweight aluminium body construction and revised suspension settings delivering pin-sharp handling and supreme control.
Active differential control and dynamic stability control reduces steering sensitivity at very high speed and increases stability and driver control. Revised settings alter slip thresholds, differential torque distribution and engine and brake intervention levels.
High-Performance braking system featuring lightweight aluminium twin-piston sliding front callipers and single-piston sliding rear callipers. Vulcan 20" inch alloy wheels feature increased tyre widths for greater precision and grip.
Sports performance and exhaust provides the XKR-S with a distinctive and deeply satisfying signature.
TECHNOLOGY FEATURES:
JAGUARDRIVE Selector™ controls the XKR-S's six-speed automatic transmission by simply turning the selector to chose Drive or Sport automatic gearshift mode. For maximum driver involvement, gear changes can also be controlled manually with one-touch paddles behind the steering wheel.
JAGUARDRIVE Control™ provides choice of modes to suit road conditions i.e. Winter mode offers a dampened accelerator response while Dynamic mode interacts with management electronics to give a more responsive accelerator reaction, quicker gear shifts and more sporting drive.
Active front lighting system features dynamic headlamps and cornering lamps that react to the car's speed and steering input.
7" Touch-screen is a masterpiece of clarity and intuitive functionality used to operate the in-car audio system, Bluetooth® telephone system, satellite navigation and climate control.
Reverse park camera sends pictures from behind the car to the 7" Touch-screen, with parking guidance for the driver. Front and rear parking aids are also standard.
DESIGN FEATURES:
Performance Styling features unique front design twin nacelles, side intakes and carbon fibre splitter and lower spoiler. Extended side sills accentuate the car's ground-hugging contours and a unique rear wing balance front and rear lift.
Gloss black detailing gives the XKR-S sporting presence an even greater impact. The upper and lower front grills, side power vents, window surrounds and boot lid finisher all come in striking gloss black finish.
Sporting colours come in French Racing Blue and new Italian Racing Red, evoking Jaguar's racing heritage. Polaris White, Ultimate Black and Stratus Grey complete the palette.
20" vulcan allow wheels and red painted brake callipers feature the Jaguar word marque.
Exclusive interiors provide a choice of sporting interior themes such as Warm Charcoal carbon and Softgrain leather with contrasting Reims Blue micro-piping and stitching.
Perfromance seats are new 16-way adjustable and upholstered in carbon and Softgrain leather with contrasting micro-piping and stitching. Strongly sculpted side bolsters offer exceptional lateral support during hard cornering.
